The Perfect Counter Height

The seats themselves also provide a lot more in the way of opportunity to personalize them, however. They could be plush, leather, or even vinyl. Be sure that you pick out materials that won't sustain too much damage with regular use. For example, if you will be getting one to be used in your kitchen's breakfast bar then you may not want to get fabrics that can easily stained by grape juice or ketchup if you plan on allowing your kids to use them

Ones that swive can be a great way to ensure that your family and guests can interact with one another without the need to stand up or relocate to a different seat. But if they are simply going to be used occasionally to sit at the kitchen counter then you may not need to consider swivel the extra expense involved.

If space is at a premium in your home then you are likely to find that bar stools with backs are not the best options for you. They can take up a lot more real estate against your counters and on your floors so it is often preferred to get backless ones that can be neatly tucked under counters or stacked in the garage or a closet until they are needed.
